Relocated Process Pipework Systems

Britvic is a leading soft drinks company, with operations in Great Britain, Ireland, France and Brazil.

Across those markets, the company has developed a strong portfolio of its own iconic brands, including Robinsons, Tango, J2O, drench, MiWadi, Ballygowan, Teisseire, Fruité, Maguary and DaFruta . In addition, in GB and Ireland, the company produces and sells a number of PepsiCo’s famous soft drinks brands, including Pepsi, 7UP, SoBe and Mountain Dew, under exclusive agreements with PepsiCo.

Britvic is the largest supplier of branded still soft drinks and the number two supplier of branded carbonated soft drinks in GB, and it is an industry leader in Ireland and France.

At Beckton, London, Britvic carries out a complete service of mixing & blending, pasteurisation, carbonation, rinsing, filling & capping, labelling, multipacking, palletising and shipping! It runs 4 production lines with Line 1 alone producing 48,000 500ml bottles an hour!

Our direct contract to Britvic involved the Preparation, Thermal Insulation & Sheet Metal Cladding of New Utility Pipework Systems as part of the Bulk Ingredients Enabling Project inclusive of Existing Process Area, Miteco Process Areas, Powder Room, External Plant Area.

• Depending on the services pipes were insulated with either mineral wool pipe sections or PIR pipe sections both complete with factory applied aluminium vapour barrier.
• In aggressive areas where acid was present stainless steel cladding was supplied and fitted, secured in place with machine tensioned stainless steel bands.
• In all other areas white painted high gloss aluminium cladding was supplied and fitted, secured in place with machine tensioned stainless steel bands.
• All sheet metal fabrications were bespoke and produced in our own workshop facility.
